I went to the commissary tonight, and my bagger called me 'miss' as he walked me and my groceries out to the car. It just made me smile as I am not really a 'miss' anymore. :)
If he called you "madame," would you be offended? I don't consider that a word for old women, but I've used it occasionally and it hasn't always gone over well.
Enjoy it! I had a waiter call me "sweetie" one time last month when I was out with my husband. I wasn't sure how to take it, since he was obviously at least 7 years younger than me...
This is my blog. I write about being a military wife. Which is pretty much the same as other wives. Except when my husband leaves, it isn't for a week long business trip. Sometimes I write about regular stuff. Sometimes I don't. But hey, this is me. :)
A bad day in Paris is better than a good day anywhere else.
